SEASON 1: IN THE BOOKS.
~14 games. Four clubs. A summer of proof-of-concept football that ended July 4, 2026 in Pflugerville, Texas.
The Continental Cup did not play in 2026 — and that was the right call. The Cup returns in 2027, when eight clubs contest a full season and a full postseason.

NFL RULES THROUGH THREE QUARTERS. A FASTER FOURTH
For three quarters, CoFL games are NFL rules. Then the fourth changes the game — a Canadian-style shift that discourages sitting on a lead, raises the drama, and keeps fans locked in until the last score.
