Indianapolis Is the New Home of the CoFL

The Continental Football League officially relocates its headquarters to Sport City USA.

A Note from the CEO

I am proud to announce that the Continental Football League is officially relocating its headquarters to Indianapolis, Indiana. Effective immediately, Indianapolis becomes the operational home of the People's League as we prepare for the next iteration of the CoFL in 2027.

There is a reason Indianapolis is known as "Sport City USA." This is the city that hosts the annual NFL Combine, home base of the Big Ten Football Championship at Lucas Oil Stadium, and one of the most decorated sports business markets in the country (Sports Business Journal). Indianapolis is where football culture lives.

And there's a timely opening that makes this the perfect moment. 2026 marks the eighth and final Colts training camp at Grand Park in Westfield. Starting in 2027, the Colts will move camp to the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center in Indianapolis (City of Westfield, Colts.com). Grand Park — a world-class facility built for professional football — is opening up. The CoFL intends to be a great steward of that opportunity.

As a reminder, the CoFL is the only outdoor professional summertime football league in the United States. Indianapolis is the ideal home for what we are building.

We have already had productive meetings with local trade unions and independent businesses in the region, and we are grateful for the endorsement and support we have received. We will work in genuine synergy with the City of Indianapolis and the wider central-Indiana community to make this league a source of pride, opportunity, and economic value for the region.

Over the fall and into 2027, the CoFL plans to anchor a series of football events in the Grand Park / Westfield region:

CoFL Fall Showcase — a first look at the next generation of professional summer football talent.
Open tryouts for prospective CoFL players across positions.
CoFL Combine — measurable, scoutable performance evaluation.
CoFL Draft — bringing a formal draft to Grand Park down the road.

Last Week in the CoFL · Independence Day

Tall City Black Gold 31, Texas Syndicate 0

On the 4th of July at The Pfield in Pflugerville, the Tall City Black Gold delivered the most complete performance of their young franchise's history — shutting out the Texas Syndicate 31–0 in front of a big crowd on United Football Media.

The game was a hard-fought battle through a scoreless first half, both defenses giving up nothing. Then the Black Gold flipped the switch — pouring in 31 unanswered points in the second half behind a smothering defensive effort and a physical, downhill offense. Head coach Rodney Blackshear's squad, coming off a competitive showing against the champion Toros the week prior, took the next step in a huge way.

The result reshapes the Southern Division picture: with the Toros' 2026 season complete, the Tall City Black Gold enter the offseason as the No. 2 team in the Southern Division and one of the most improved franchises in the league.

Selected by CoFL coaches and football professionals — the official honors of the 2026 season.

We are genuinely grateful for the fans who have taken the time to build their own Players of the Year and MVP lists across social media this season. That passion is what makes the CoFL The People's League. Those lists, however, are the work of individual social media operators and are not representative of official league results. The official 2026 All-CoFL Team is the product of extensive film study by our head coaches and football professionals — evaluation that goes well beyond box-score statistics or social popularity.

This weekend, the official 2026 All-CoFL Team will be released. Look for the full team in the next issue of The Continental.
